Please excuse this RAW, extended video investigating the issue. I had to shuffle multiple remotes as C7 can't control Xbox One S despite detecting it properly through CEC (same results on Oppo 103 BDP).
55C7 running latest October firmware with Technicolor Experts mode and Lossless Dolby TrueHD based ATMOS input over HDMI 2.0.
Looses signal while playing 60Hz HDR or Atmos!
On a UHD 24Hz HDR10 and Atmos supported Bluray, freezes video while playing audio
On a UHD 60Hz HDR10 video from Amazon Prime, looses signal completely (confirmed to be freezing content by connecting to another UHD 60Hz HDR10 supported VU TV).
Tried 3 different Certified and earlier tested HDMI 2.0 cables. One of them are CL3 certified THICK Amazon Basics cable and while all of them worked flawlessly without any interference from strong EMI or drop outs, completely stops playing on C7.
Lost battery power on my camera so couldn't demonstrate using PC. There it runs videos fine with NO SOUND when enabling ATMOS output. So 2 different experience using Dolby Atmos and HDR 60Hz over HDMI.
Another qualm is reflective HUGE stand for a 55" TV which acts as a secondary light source and is quite distracting. Last year's E6 and even B7 minimalist stand may be better in this aspect especially when there is no difference in Picture Quality, performance or Audio.
Despite this critical issue, TV is running fine with inbuilt apps (Netflix, Amazon and YouTube). Even without calibration, after first compensation cycle, I get the best picture quality and completely dark blacks (in equally dark room).
